Benefits about Scale breaker
Tension leveler is widely used in strip rolling line, such as galvanized wire, acid rolling line and color coating lines. When used in the acid line rolling machine, we called scale breaker, which is located in front of pickling tank, hot-rolled strip in a continuous alternating stretching and bending under the combined effect of plastic deformation, while the hot-rolled strip does not have the oxide surface plastic deformation. In the process of tensile Strip of plastic deformation, the surface of oxide fractures, thus saving a lot of acid. Hot-rolled strip at the same time also get a better correction. The core component of tension leveler is the bending and correct roll units.
Scale breaker is used to eliminate all kinds of three-dimensional plate shape defects such as bilateral wave, unilateral wave, middle wave, two-rib wave, warping, buckling and potential bad plate shape.
In the process of calendaring strip, the above-mentioned plate shape defects will be occurred in the coiled strip due to bad roll shape and roll gap shape. These defects are caused by the uneven longitudinal extension of the rolled piece in width direction and the disorder of rolling stress. In order to eliminate the bad shape of the coiled strip and make the internal stress tend to be uniform, the coiled strip needs to be corrected.
